Ph.D. Studentship
A PhD student is sought in computational fluid dynamics/computational engineering, starting in Sept., 2023 at the City College of New York (CCNY) of the City University of New York (CUNY). Funded by NSF and other sources, the successful candidate will develop new and enhance existing numerical models for problems of coastal ocean flows. It is expected that the candidates are highly motivated and goal oriented, and have
1. MS degree in oceanography, applied math, civil engineering, or other related discipline, 2. Solid knowledge in mathematics and physics
Preference will be given to those who have experience in computer programming and flow modeling algorithm development. Background in both math and engineering is especially welcome. People with citizenship of U.S. and its territory may be considered for a special program.
